Firstcom unifies its brand and strengthens its Channel Team

Last month we announced that out UK subsidiary companies, Firstcom, Telesis, Difference and VOIPONE Corporation, will now operate under the banner of Firstcom Europe. This is resulted in the creation of a new company website, resources, and marketing collateral all specifically designed for our community of Partners and Resellers.

Firstcom Europe currently operates in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Poland, and is seeking to make further acquisitions within this footprint. Over the past six years Firstcom has made eight acquisitions and achieved an annual turnover of more than €36m. During this time our strategy has evolved from moving slowly away from existing names and brands to proactively merging our operations and identity.

The high demand for cloud services particularly during the Covid pandemic when customers have been seeking remote working and superior collaboration solutions has seen us the UK strengthen our team by 20%. We have streamlined our business, moving our operations hub to our Bolton office, and recruited more technicians, finance and channel support staff to make it easier for channel partners to work with us.

Firstcom Europe’s strengthened in-house technical team, coupled with new processes will empower our channel partners and resellers to focus on new sales rather than getting bogged down with maintenance issues. With the new structure in place, we intend to build on our existing and new alliances to ensure that partners and resellers treat Firstcom as a one-stop-shop for their client unified communications needs.
