Network Upgrade

Firstcom Europe has engaged the services of StableLogic, a leading London based technology consultancy to assist us in developing our future network infrastructure and platform. The upgrade involves putting more of the server-based infrastructure into the cloud, thereby creating a hybrid cloud-server network. Firstcom has had a significant increase in customer usage over the past years and the new design will create a network that will cope with company growth for the next 5 years, that is robust and secure.

Product Development

The new product development programme will focus on collaboration capabilities within Firstcom’s unified communications product, Universe, whilst putting in place API capabilities to link the platform to CRM for screen pops from incoming calls.

Support

Along with the product and infrastructure changes, our support team has been re-organised and expanded and new processes have been developed that enable us to get to issues that need resolving for partners and customers more quickly and efficiently. We have developed tools that allow us to more accurately monitor speed of response and resolution against our Service Level Agreement over time.

These improvements have already started and will continue for the rest of the year as we develop a new network architecture and enhance our products. We will keep you, our partners abreast of progress and look forward to improving our service to you further.
