On Thursday 7th May, Team Firstcom headed to Liverpool to take part in The Big Goal Northern Regionals – and what a day it turned out to be!
Competing against some of the biggest names in the industry, the team got off to a flying start, winning our first two games and showing real quality, teamwork, and determination on the pitch.
Unfortunately, despite a strong start, two tough results later in the day saw us narrowly miss out on progression, bringing our tournament journey to an end.
Win or lose, it was an incredible experience to be part of such a fantastic event, raising awareness and support for an amazing cause through football.
A huge congratulations goes to Elite Group, who were crowned Northern Regional champions!
